Under the global curriculum reform, educational objective of chemistry in senior high school in western counties which was bringing up future talents of chemistry has turned to enhance all students'science literacy. Accordingly, in chemical education, education of chemical history has been pay more attention, later on, the value of it has been developed. Comparing with the west, civil education of chemical history need learn more. The author chose Shanghai as research object, which is a developed region on education. The author studied the teaching and textbook of chemical history under the "curriculum reform -II "in Shanghai. The research mainly focus on the following issues:â‘ What about the education of chemical history in textbook in senior high school in Shanghai?â‘¡What about the education of chemical history in chemical teaching?â‘¢Based on the present, how to improve it?In the study of teaching, The author used questionnaire and interview to investigate chemistry teachers and students in senior high school. In the study of textbook, The author used textual analysis, established ten analytic objective which was based on Leite' checklist, picked out chemical history and did Statistical analysis.In the analysis of textbook, The author discovered some advantages, for example, the distribution of chemical history was balanced, each period of chemical history in book was well-proportioned, The picture and its accompanying essay are both excellent, The scientific method and scientific spirit were reflected more. At the same time, also reflected some deficiencies, in the narrative, stories less than state; in the position presented, the chemical history in the body is less; in the learning activities, editor haven't pay enough attention; in the type of chemical history presented in book, "the debate between some schools" was lacked. In the survey of chemical teaching, The research discovered teachers specially emphasized the emotion education. Generally, the education of chemical history was pay more attention. At the same time, also reflected some deficiencies, for example, education function of chemical history was just used one-sided, teaching methods was single, the teaching effect was not good. The author analyzes some influencing factors, for example, teachers knew the value of chemical history one-sided, evaluation mechanism was simple, class time was not enough.In a word, the fusion of chemical history and chemistry made certain progress, but further improvement was needed. The author proposed some suggestion. In the teaching, chemical history may become School-based curriculum, teachers can introduce advanced western teaching mode, can promote the diversity of the assessment. In the textbook, can increase the proportion of story, increase the proportion of chemical history in body, increase "the debate between some schools", value learning activities. About introducing advanced western teaching mode, the author began new teaching designs which was different from the past, but not the same as HPS. About its effect, it still needs study in the future.
