Reach On The Development And Suggestion Of The Private Higher Schools In Guangxi

As the important component of Chinese higher education, the private higher schools play the vital role in those aspects, such as fostering the talent, increasing the education supplies, promoting the education fair and the economic development, realizing the popularity of the higher education and so on. Since 2003, though the private higher schools in Guangxi which have the eligibility to present the academic diplomas independently increase to 7 in 2007, it has large gap that compared with China's 297. On the occasion of the popularity of the higher Education in Guangxi and the strategy of "talent-gui" which is proposed by the autonomous regional government, the private colleges face enormous opportunities. But, the private colleges will encounter the difficulty and the barrier for various reasons in the development. How to hold the opportunities and overcome difficulties is the realistic question which waits to be solved urgently.This thesis will explore the private higher schools in Guangxi which have the eligibility to present the academic diplomas independently by using the methods of literature methodology, investigation and comparison. Firstly, this thesis summaries the background and the present situation of Chinese higher education and defines the private higher education and the private college. Secondly, it dissects the private higher schools in Guangxi. The content includes the origin, the school pattern, the regional distribution, the establishment of the major. Thirdly, through using SWOT analytic method of the strategy management theory, this search analysis the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats of the private colleges in Guangxi. Based on the analysis of the competition environment of the private colleges in Guangxi before, this fifth chapter proposes the measures from the aspects of the macroscopic and the microscopic. In the macroscopic aspect, the government should give guidance and create the fair competitive environment for the private colleges in Guangxi, by transforming the education idea, implementing the supporting policy and laws, widening the channel of the funds, encouraging the social intermediary organization to participate. In the microscopic aspect, the private higher schools themselves need to set up the correct operating theories, optimize the internal management organization, localize reasonable, and establish the teacher troop that is stable and high quality. The content of the last chapter is case study. The author chooses two cases: the Art and Design Vocational College of North Sea and the Hongyuan Football Vocational College of North Sea. This part studies the superiority and question of the two schools which exist. And then, the author proposes the countermeasure briefly.
