The purpose of this paper is to broaden the vision and ideas of Andragogy, with respecting for the historical context of its original appearance. From the history of Andragogy, the author tries to explore the logic of its development, and the current problems and prospects as far as possible.This thesis could be summarized into 2 points:Firstly, the author explores the concept Andragogy, including its originality, connotation and relation differentiating, from the static state, i.e. Deconstruct Andragogy as a static knowledge field consisted of concept, relation, category, and proposition. Through static investigation, we can gain a basic understanding of Andragogy and form a logic concept framework of it correspondingly. Worth to mention, this understanding of the quality of Andragogy is insufficient because the static knowledge system is just an outcome of adult education activities and is only a link of the whole adult education activity chain.Secondly, the author further investigates the developmental process of Andragogy form a dynamic perspective, manifesting the nature of it. Considering the limitations of static investigation of Andragogy, it's necessary as well as obligatory to put Andragogy into the dynamic and on-going historical context to manifest the nature of it and understand the true connotation of it.Thirdly, thinking about all stages of development on Andragogy, including significance, function, contribution, missing, blind spots and so on. After describing the history on each stage, the author tries to sum up the gradual situation, characteristic, and then elaborates individual's in-depth analysis and reflection.Fourthly, according to these analysis and thinking, the author reflects on the realistic situation of Andragogy, forecasts which condition it should be. Here, what needs to make the explanation is, the paper describes the history of Andragogy, not just for giving an outlook or reflection, but for forming a conscious awareness on reflection, and stimulating a driving force for the future.
