Research On The Application Of Visual Representation In Developing Pre-school Children's Visual And Spatial Intelligence

On the background of the information technology and the approaching era of graph reading, this paper mainly researches on the visual expression of teaching and communicating methods.Based on the analysis of children's visual and spatial intelligence, the author analyzes the relative factors from the perspectives of children's visual and perceptive characteristics, history, and culture and education resources. From cultivating the visual ability, visual imaginative ability and visual conformation painting ability, the author makes research on the following three aspects: the form and content of digital imaging under the environment of information technology, different visual symbols, and visual characteristics, and then further demonstrates that the visual characteristics are helpful to develop children's visual spatial intelligence. Then, many strategies which are meant to cultivate the pre - school children's visual and spatial intelligence are proposed in accordance with children's visual characteristics. Those training strategies are detailed illustrated in this paper. Visual ability can be cultivated through developing national culture and cultural symbols in visual educational resources, and visualized learning materials. Besides, visual imagination ability can be fostered by the way of establishing visual image, applying visual symbols in building visual imagination and transforming visual arts to create cultural background. Finally, visual conformation painting ability can be trained through applying visual methods in constructing teaching and evaluating children's painting. On the foundation of visual representational theory, the visual representational strategies were applied in training pre - school children and have made great achievements.
