The author of this paper attempts to base on the child psychology, experimental psychology, and educational psychology, combine its own experience of teaching practice in many years, bring the concepts and methods of art creation into English teaching practice, and build up a complete set of English teaching system for children.This paper is divided into four parts, not including the preface. In the first part, from the four sides of teacher status, teaching methods, teaching materials and younger age trend of English study, the author firstly states the problems which exist in the current children'English teaching in our country. Then, in order to provide a theoretical basis for the construction of outdoor didactics system, from the four aspects of child psychology, language learning theory, English Education methodology, the author attempts to seek theoretical support for the implementation of English outdoor art teaching approach to children. In the second part, the feasibility of the outdoor art approach in English teaching to children is demonstrated. In the third part, from the three sides of teaching philosophy, teaching methods and teaching content, the author firstly summarizes the connotation of outdoor art teaching approach, and then, elaborates its targets, conditions and methods for implementation, and finally, sets up an evaluation method for it. In the last part, according to the basic methods of experimental psychology, the author designs a psychological experiment in order to inspect the students'interest degrees, which provides an experimental support for outdoor art teaching approach to children.In this paper, the innovation is to apply the outdoor art approach and combine the outdoor and indoor teaching practices closely, which can make the children repeat and consolidate the classroom teaching content in natural environment and get the effect of internalization. Of course, because of the particularity of this method, it should be studied by more scholars about how to carry it out.
