The Internet has swept over the globe in the past ten years, and some people have been addicted to it. The addiction has aroused great concern from the public and the concern is what this study is based on. The related materials used here are, Young's ten-item questionnaire on the Internet-addiction, the MMPI Scale, the OLSON questionnaire on marriage quality, and a questionnaire on degree of satisfaction to life. In the process of this project, thirty-five married Internet addicts in twelve net bars in Changchun City were involved in and were questioned about their personality, marriage quality and degree of satisfaction to life. All the data are processed by Huicheng Software and SPSS11.5. The results are as follows.1. Apart from the most common introversion, the rate of each personality of the Internet addicts, in Minnesota Multi-facet personality varies, of which the rate of hypochondrias is the highest, followed by that of hysteria, manliness/ femininity and schizophrenia.2. With regard to the twelve dimensions of marriage quality, the Internet addicts can only have effective interaction with the spouse in spare time activities but not for the rest.3. This study also shows that Internet addicts'degree of satisfaction to life is in good proportion to their marriage quality. A further analysis applying the regression equation confirms that this relation is prominent, thus using the degree of satisfaction to life to predict marriage quality is highly reliable.4. There is no evidence showing that the Internet addicts'degree of satisfaction in life is highly related to their personality, which is contrary to the hypothesis.5. The Internet addicts'marriage quality and mania in Minnesota Multi-facet personality together establish a prominent relation of inverse proportion. Furthermore, there is no clear evidence to show that marriage quality is highly related to any other dimension in Minnesota Multi-facet personality.
