Internet addiction phenomenon has become one of the hot topics of psychology research in recent years. I choose secondary vocational students as subjects and use the questionnaire to investigate the status of their Internet usage and find out whether they are addicted to the Internet and how deep it is. Through analyzing the mental status of secondary vocational students who are addicted to Internet and discussing the relationship between their life satisfaction and Internet addiction as well as their coping styles, this study intend to provide new perspectives not only about preventing secondary vocational students from Internet addiction but also correcting, basing on a positive psychology. Hoping to offer a significant and positive educational phylosophy of psychological health in vocational school.In this research, 620 questionnaires are given out and 523 are valid. Analysis about those questionnaires show conclusions as below:(1)The phenomenon of Internet addiction happens to secondary vocational students, Internet addiction and Internet addiction edge account for 9.3%;(2)The Internet addiction level is significant different in gender and grade of secondary vocational students: boys are more likely to become Internet addiction than girls and students from the second grade are more likely to become Internet addiction than those from the first grade;(3)The coping styles adopted by the Internet addiction group are more negative than the normal group. And vocational students of Internet addiction show a significant negative relationship with coping styles: worse coping styles, more serious addicted situation;(4)The Internet addiction group life satisfaction is much lower than the normal group:vocational students with Internet addiction show a very significant negative relationship with life satisfaction, the lower life satisfaction is, the more serious Internet addiction is. By the above conclusions we can infer that, Internet addiction of vocational students has negative relation with their coping styles and low life satisfaction, and the reason for Internet addiction are extremely complex, which are affected by various factors.Basing on above conclusion, we analyze the psychological causes for Internet addicting of vocational students, and forward some advices for vocational school like: treating Internet addiction problems with the perspective of positive psychology, holing positive educational phylosophy, taking advantage of Internet to eliminate the negative impact of Internet, establishing an Internet addiction intervention group to help students correcting Internet addiction, and cultivating their hobbies, letting them experiencing high life satisfaction in the real world. Last but not least, vocational schools can’t solve the problem about vocational students having Internet addiction until they hold up the positive educational phylosophy and the positive solution.
