The 21st century has come into an era of knowledge and economy, during which the competition of technological creation is actually the one of creative personnel. So it is the social responsibility and era mission to improve the students'creative and practical ability. On account of this,"The New Chemistry Curriculum Standard"aims to enable the students to adjust to the modern life and requirements of future development, and focuses on promoting the citizens'science accomplishment of 21st century. It clearly states: to change the way of learning and develop the students'spirit of innovation and capacity of practice by strengthening their exploring awareness through a variety of research activities.The inquiry-based learning refers to the way and process of acquiring learning skills and attitude by discovering problems, investigating, operating, expressing and communicating activities in the subject field and in real life. Chemistry inquiry-based learning requires the students to obtain knowledge and make use of it to work out problems under the guidance of teachers. As a reform of study method, whether the Inquiry-based learning can be widely used in chemistry teaching marks whether the new curriculum reform has focused on elementary education.The traditional accepting study method has given rise to many ill effects on senior students'study and development, so my essay mentions the importance of new curriculum reform and lists the wrong practice while carrying out the probing way of study. By analyzing the reasons of causing this phenomenon, I draw a conclusion that most educators lack the true comprehension of inquiry-based learning. So I put forward such a research.This essay includes four parts:1. Theory of probing way of study;2. Psychological mechanism;3. The general strategy and different stage strategies carried out in class; 4. The practical effects and the preceding problems.By practicing the research, the writer has made a lot of attempts and revised the practice repeatedly, acquiring plenty of understanding about it. Hopefully, my essay can arouse some thoughts and meanwhile provide some guidance and elicitation for colleagues who are teaching under the background of new curriculum reform.
