It has been a tendency and a main character to focus on developing the subjectivity of students since the twentieth century in worldwide educational innovation and development. As a new type of learning, reflective learning has great influence on developing students' subjectivity and creativity. Due to age, cognitive and psychological restricts, primary school students are independent and lack of subjectivity in their learning. It is especially necessary to aid primary school students in forming and boosting their relevant habits and capabilities.This paper aims at making clear the importance of developing students' lifelong capability of learning in compulsory education and probing a better way of learning in primary school education. The author attempts to do a systematic formulation on the characteristics, values and limitations of reflective learning by literature analysis. Moreover, a cooperative and interactive approach of observing students' reflective learning procedure and discussing the phenomena with primary school teachers is applied to describe the contents, approaches and complementary instruments , and summarize some underlying disciplines and to provide both teachers and students some theoretical reference in practice.
