A Study Of Innovation And Development Of Tournament Systems Of Chinese Undergraduates Football League

The football level of one nation and the cultivation of football backups are closely interrelated. National existing cultivation mode of football backups has some advantages in systematically cultivating football players, however, it exists many shortcomings. Breaking through the national traditional cultivation mode of talents and combining the high-level athletes with higher education, it is an instructive attempt that enables university to be an important base for cultivating footbal athletes and high-quality football players. With the participant dominant authority of the world undergraduates sports meeting shifts from State Sport General Administration to Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education has ratified some high-level sports teams made up by universities. In order to test the training effect, the Chinese Undergraduates Sports Association and Chinese Football Association jointly hold the Chinese Undergraduates Football League. Through seven-year development, university football has made some achievements, but there are some weak points especially in the aspect of race system, which restricts the development of university football. By examination and demonstration, the thesis attempts to establish a set of new tournament systems of Chinese undergraduates football league that can correspond to the characteristics of university and fulfill the popularity and improvement of Chinese undergraduates football as well, with expectation to form a rich atmosphere of football in university, which enables Chinese undergraduates football league to become a bridge connecting most youths and high-level athletes so that promotes the development of Chinese football.Through the methods of documentation, questionnaire and mathematical statistic, the thesis deeply explores and analyzes tournament systems'current situation of Chinese undergraduates football league. It holds that initiative effect of existing tournament systems of Chinese undergraduates football should be institutionalized league, simply organized matches, highlighted the important points and relatively put into a few funds. However, the existing tournament systems still have the problems of narrow sphere of the league, single layer, having not become a hinge of linking leader-member league matches and having paid little attention by society, etc. so that it should be improved and perfected in order to arouse the ethusiasm of many higher education institutions'participation and promote further popularization and improvement of Chinese undergraduates football league. According to the whole level of football of our higher education institution in current stage and current situation of football competition and training of Chinese undergraduates, taking the successful experience of tournament systems of undergraduates league at home and abroad as a reference, the thesis proposes the mixed mode of tournament systems. It is a competative method guided by related theory of competative systems in the light of our social situation of politics, economy, culture and the football development of higher education institution, and mixed up tournament systems of grades, systems of home and away basis and tournament systems to have a competition in Chinese undergraduates football league. The mixed mode divides the competition into two grades,"Jia"and"Yi"at tryout stage in regions according to different levels of higher education institution. Meanwhile, the match is carried out by home and away basis in higher education institution relatively concentrated in a city. At a stage of subarea finals, the match is divided into four area, East, West, South and North according to geographic position. Both subarea finals and grand final adopt the concertrated tournament systems. Moreover, the paper is an analysis of conceiving mixed tournament systems and its feasibility. The mixed tournament systems provides us a new way in the respect of reinforcing the popularization and improvement of the league, which is good for strenghtening communication of higher education institution, enriching cultural life of campus, improving strategic level of football team, promoting popularity of universities and arousing ethusiasm of many higher education institutions'participation. At the same time, the successful experience at home and abroad and the suggestions of experts and scholars manifests that mixed tournament systems embraces a strong operability, and is in accordance with popularization and development of football in Chinese higher education institution.In the view of country's basic condition and current situation of Chinese undergraduates football league, formulating a phasic planning of development of undergraduates football league; robusting administrative organizations and complete legislative systems, stengthening supervision and management of competition, and reinforcing the cooperation with news media; increasing the propaganda dynamics, improving the influence of the league, raising funds from many parties and attracting the sponsors of enterprise and improving the function of making money; perfecting talents training system of"primary school—secondary school—university"; improving coaches'level and strengthening the constuction of referee teams are the safeguard measures to carry out mixed tournament systems of Chinese undergraduates football league.
