Recently, reflection ability in maths-learning in senior school has attracted maths teachers'increasing attention. However, few such studies focus on the arts students. This essay is aimed to study how to develop the reflection ability of these arts students. Here is the outline of the essay.First of all, the definition of reflection will be put forward and the value of this subject will be stated. Then the author will list the factors which affect the reflection ability of these students.Since maths is full of abstractness, it is quite necessary to develop students'reflection ability, which is in turn good to students'long-term development and enable them to make use of the transfer effect in their daily life.Next comes the first attempt of teaching strategy which mainly contains the following four steps: giving new lessons (absorbing right knowledge), solving problems (getting better ways of working out problems), correcting errors (rethink about the cause of errors) and keeping a journal (forming good habit of reflection).Teaching reflection and learning reflection are related to each other and benefit each other. The last part of the essay deals with how to further the study of some questions already referred to in this essay.
