Problem posing and problem solving are both major compositions of teaching. They are restricted and relied on each other. Domestic and international scholars have done lots of studies with regard to students from primary school and junior high school, but there are few studies with regard to students from high school. In our study we adopt empirical research to identify the relationship between Problem posing and Problem Solving by statistics analyses. In this research we chose a province point senior high school,a point and a common high school in Tangshan City. In each of the schools we randomly select 96 students in grade 1,99 in grade 2, and 92 in grade 3, total 287 students to be tested. We use two kinds of test papers, each has two questions about Problem posing and Problem Solving. We ask students to answer questions according to the information provided in the questions of Problem posing, and ask them to pose 3 questions in it: an easy,a more difficulty and a complicated mathematics question. We draw up grade point to the student's problem posing standard, and carry on an examination for consistency, according to grade point standard we collect and sort data, and use the SPSS software's to carry on students' results by statistics analyses. Conclusion: There is notable relationship between the capability of Problem posing and Problem Solving in students from high school; Between schools and between grades, there is significance difference with regard to the capabilities of Problem posing and Problem Solving; and there is significance difference between gender with regard to the capability of Problem posing, but when it comes to the capability of Problem Solving, there is no significance difference between gender.
