| The progress of technology and the rapid development of computer network have been promoting the combination of information technology and education. E-learning, which based on online courses,has become an important means of modern education. In the process of education informatization, how to improve online learning performance has become the subject of wide concern.Too much emphasis has been put on the leading role of online course builders and teachers in the present construction of some online courses, which leads to few concern about individual differences of learners, and thus the influence of different learning styles on online learning performance has been ignored. Lack of concern about learning styles is inconsistent with the education concept—teach students according to their aptitude.The present study, based on Kolb's learning style theory and targeted at the learning process of histology and embryology, a military academy online course, has testified empirically the correlation between the evaluation of online courses and online learning performance among learners with different learning styles through questionnaire method , interview method and experimental methods of survey research methods. The study has also developed the Learning Style Online Measurement System, which will promote the understanding of different learning styles and thus facilitate online learning performance to the great practical extent in the process of online course construction.The innovation of the present study lies in:1. It proves the influence of different learning styles on online learning in military academy online teaching practice for the first time.2. It suggests adding the testing of learning styles in the construction of online courses and proposes a program for putting into practice.
