Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture has been set up for 50 years, especially from the reform and opening-up, under the Party's national policy and the care of our government, all the Korean educators have done their best to make the Korean education have a great progress. However, with the economic development, social progress and the continuous deepening of national education reform, the Korean education in Yanbian is facing many new situations and new problems. Bilingual teaching is unable to keep up with the pace of the times, unable to adapt to the modern educational requirements of facing the country and the world, and it can not satisfy the majority of Korean parents' needs to want their children to learn bilingualism well.Since reform and opening up, with the higher cultural level, the Korean minority has a great change from single-language system to bilingualism. Hoping to improve the students' Chinese ability, many middle schools and primary schools in Yanbian are carrying out the experiment of bilingual education reform, and they put the bilingual education as school's most important work.Science is a kind of basic natural science, and it is almost not affected by teaching language, so it is suitable for bilingual teaching. On the basis of discussing the necessity and feasibility of bilingual teaching in high school of Yanbian, the paper has a deep investigation about the science in Korean high school. It has got the bilingual teaching situation in science, and given an analysis, hoping to provide some enlightenment for Yanbian Korean bilingual teaching in science.The paper has chosen six Korean high schools to make a survey. The main ways are questionnaire, observation, and interviews.Through the investigation, we have found:The science bilingual teaching in Korean high school can be called "code-switching" bilingual teaching, for the teachers often use Korean and Chinese in the teaching activity. And most of the teachers can't have an effective evaluation about the students' Chinese ability, can't reflect the language goals of bilingual teaching, and so on. So, most of the students are unable to use bilingualism in study, unable to use the Chinese material well. Sum up the reasons, the main points are followed:1. Schools and educational departments don't have enough emphasis on the science bilingual teaching in high school.2. Teachers are lack of the understanding about bilingual education.3. Bilingual teachers don't have the enough ability to control bilingualism, especially the expression of Chinese spoken language.On the basis of analyzing and surveying, the paper has a research about the science bilingual teaching in Korean high school, including the content of bilingual education, bilingual teachers and bilingual teaching evaluation. And it has given some specific recommendations about how to improve the science bilingual teaching in Korean high school.1. The government and the education administration departments have to standardize and guide the healthy development of science bilingual teaching in high school.2. The schools have to base on the actual situation to develop its teachers' team in science bilingual teaching.3. The teachers have to change mind, profoundly understand the connotations of bilingual education, understand the purpose and significance of the classroom design and have the courage to get an innovation and practice.
