From Cultural Perspectives Explaining Conflict Of Dual Role Of Occupation Female In Contemporary China

Perplexity of the dual role of career women in contemporary China, is not only a very realistic and urgent social problem within the scope of China,but also, all over the world, having become a common concern to usual people, and a widespread and realistic problem to each national scholar vying with each other in the research.. However, everybody is living in certain culture, and the culture always permeates into the particular race or into the deep mind of people in the particular ages, historically accumulates and turns into a steady way that people live in,then insidely dominates kinds of people' s behaviors,endows people's behavior with meanings, and then affects kinds of social activities.This thesis, based on culture, primarily gender culture,first of all, explains culture and gender culture——view of value as their chief composing,possessing enormous spirit power; in the next place, after having identified some basic conceptions such as career women, dual role, etc.,elaborates conflict representations of the dual role,and perplexity as well as pressure which career woman bear while facing it; next, as a mainly part, this thesis launches the culture reading to the role perplexity of career women——culture, particularly the gender culture, in which, tradition and modernity, conservativeness and innovation exist simultaneously and interlace, it is mostly, seen from culture, the collision of the culture value of new and old, that give birth to this kind confusedness of the dual role of career women; finally,from culture, this text tries to inquiry into how availably to decompress this kind conflict of career woman, and views such as creating culture, estabilishing advanced gender culture which is based on Marxist women view etc., as counterplan consults.
