Along with society’s progress and the development of The Times, women have more and more involved in social division of labor, and play an important role. However the evaluation system of diversity decided the contemporary women in the workforce for yoke of families at the same time, also have to accept the outside world for themselves as members of the family important responsibilities. Dual role of contradiction and conflict between women with frequent and increasingly prominent, the identity of the transformation, in turn, affect a woman’s work, family and body and mind. Professional women how to balance the role conflict, realize own value without sacrifice the happiness of the family, is a problem in the contemporary professional women. Professional women from entering society to leave work (retirement), will experience during multiple stages, each stage because of age and circumstances of different, can lead to different groups, different age groups of women facing their specific problems. Aiming at this point, this article selects a specific group as the research object, namely about40~50middle-aged professional women, and geographical scope in datong city.In China there are a lot of articles about female role conflict question, in terms of professional women, for different groups of descriptive and analytical articles also more abundant, such as the higher-education groups, women entrepreneurs, laid-off worker groups, etc. But to play a backbone role in various fields of middle-aged women, hit a point of view and the related research is relatively scarce. Due to middle-aged women no matter in family or in work, all play a role, which forms a connecting link between the preceding and the face of pressure, worry and confusion it is more serious than the other groups and complex. This article adopts the sociological perspective of women and family studies, based on the structural functionalism, rational choice theory, social gender theory, role theory and conflict theory, such as theoretical background, collecting data by adopting the method of literature, questionnaire, interview, in the collating of data and analysis, on the basis of key research basic reason of middle-aged women role conflict question. In according to different ways of coping strategies is given at the same time, emphasis on theoretical analysis combined with scenario cases, operability as the first principle, relieves midlife career women because of the role conflict and a series of problems. I think, solve the middle-aged professional women role conflict optimal strategy, besides social offer certain support, more importantly, women themselves should take the initiative to cognitive role conflict, timely adjust their own role expectation, train their consciousness of roles compensatory, brave to accept the challenge of the society. In realizing their own value, at the same time, deal with the relationship between family and career.
