In class, the current implementation of the new curriculum standards has become one of the hot and difficult issues in the country's new round of curriculum reform . In the new era ,how to reform politics teaching methods to catch up with the pace of the new curriculum reform?I think that we need to build a new effective model to adapt to the needs of the times and change the knowledge-based, the traditional teacher-centred teaching methods,which can promote the overall development based on students'self-study and inquiry learning .such as the main spirit ,sense of innovation and practical ability and so on .I believe that Inquiry Teaching is in line with the spirit of the new curriculum reform. Inquiry Teaching emphasizes on student-centered development and devotes efforts to developing students'potential.It's ultimate purpose is to encourage students to experience the fun of inquiry , seek scientific methods and foster innovation capacity while acquiring knowledge actively. Inquiry Teaching methods has caused widespread concern of the education sector, but it is far from good work to deeply study how to carry on with the theory in the field of secondary school politics teaching, the operating procedures and the practical effects of of the mode. This paper attempts to do some researches about theseissues.I hope that this study can help the politics teaching and other disciplines in the implementation of Inquiry Teaching in secondary school.This paper is divided into four parts. Part I: Introduction:the sense of urgency and great practical significancein of the Inquiry Teaching study by the statement of domestic and international dynamic teaching model researches and thoughts on the politics teaching status in secondary schools; Part II: The meaning and significance of the researches on the Inquiry politics teaching in secondary schools, including the meaning , characters, principles and significances of the secondary school politics Inquiry Teaching.Part III: The theoretical research of the mode of politics Inquiry Teaching methods, including its theoretical basis of philosophy, psychology,education and so on. Part IV: The practical research of politics Inquiry Teaching, respectively, on the teaching mode, the implementation strategy and the analysis of the use of politics Inquiry Teaching in middle school and three relationgships that need to be dealt with well in practics.
