On The Inquiry Teaching Program In The Course Of Ideology And Politics

With the new century coming, the reform of the elementary educational courses have begun. Many teachers and educationists start to focus attention on the course of Ideology and Politics because it has many theories to instill , a lot of abstract and dull things to remember and many people think it not practical. What kind of teaching method is fir for the students as the main body of studying and what guiding part a teacher should play in the teaching is asked to be looked into for each teacher who teaches this course.In the past few years, I have done a lot of research into the theory of the Inquiry Teaching Program in the Ideology and Politics and have practiced a lot in class. Some knowledge and views of my own on the Inquiry Program gradually come into being in my mind.The Inquiry Teaching Program is a teaching method used by the teacher in class based on the scientific inquiry way. It maintains that the teachers should direct the students to carry on the activities of inquiry and make them raise questions, analysis them and solve them through these activities, as a result the students can master the knowledge, form the skills, develop their diathesis. It is a process of teaching and studying between the teachers and the students, which is carried out by raising the questions ,collecting materials, handling the information and solving the problems.The Inquiry Teaching Program involves the classroom teaching and development outside class, the main body of studying and the guide of the teachers', which should be in perfect harmony. I lay particular emphasis on the Inquiry Teaching Program on the classroom teaching in this thesis. For one thing, I think, tofix the problems for the inquiry scene is the first step in the classroom teaching. Then, it will touch upon inquiring problems, analysis and demonstrating the problems, discussing and inter changing the problems, solving the problems, drawing the conclusion, and appraising the results of the inquiry, etc.To create a scene for inquiring is the base of the Inquiry Teaching Program. The main task of a teacher is to show the background to the students and arouse the students' knowledge about it. The teacher must make a certain scope within which the students can discover the problems and doubts.During the course of guiding the students to inquire the problems, teaching the students how to inquire the problems is the most important. The following are some ways of inquiry: 1.inquiry by understanding, 2, inquiry by doubts, 3,inquiy on reality, 4, inquiry by comparing, etc.To make a democratic equal tolerant atmosphere for students when they are analysis and discussing the problems is obviously important.When the students solve the problems with the help of the teachers', the teachers should enlighten the students on how to think and solve the query as folio wings: 1. master the important points and innate character 2. recommend the compare 4.develop their thinking space, that is , connect with the relevant subjects and the knowledge outside class, or with the knowledge in depth.The Inquiry Teaching Program insists that the teachers direct the students to carry on the activities of inquiry and make them raise questions, collect materials, handle the information and solve the problems. It is a process of not only teaching but also learning.The course of Ideology and Politics is of many theories and thoughts. There are many theories ,views and practical problems which are worth seeking deeply.This passage is just a beginning on the theory and the practical operation of the Inquiry Teaching Program. I am looking forward to getting the valuable suggestion from the teachers and educationists and doing a thorough painstaking research into the Inquiry Teaching Program by practice and observation with them together. There are many researching work remained to be done for me. I wall make a further study on the theory in the teaching practice in future.
