Till now, the low efficiency of classic Chinese teaching is a uncontriversial truth. The reason of it is deeply complicated. This research is going to have a study from the point of teaching model based on the Cognitive Linguistics. After the analysis and comparison with the word by word translation model ,practice model and inquiry model, the rearch is going to integrate them and improve them into guide-and-inquiry by reading model. This model makes use of reading through the whole teaching process. It will realize the teaching aims with the steps like wholy perception reading, teachers'guide reading , study and inquiry reading and so on. It also emphasize the students'automatice inquiry and teachers'guide so that it is quite practical by balancing the main subject as students and the main guide as teachers. Based on the constructive model, this rearch studies the teaching value of the guide-and-inquiry by reading model with the real teaching examples. It also points out what difficulties this model is going to face in regard"the refinement of the effective comment"and"the improvement of teachers'abilities of controlling the class".
