The Design, Develop And Application Of Video Guidance In Online Instruction

With the rapid development of online instruction, the online courseware which as the most important and the most direct study objects attracts more and more attentions of various kinds universities and network instruction agencies, the quality of network courseware directly influence the online instruction quality. Teachers and learners are separated in online instruction, and learners'autonomic learning ability is inferiors, therefore, the guide, instruct and tutor the network learning process seems very important.Guidance is a module to guide, instruct, and tutor learners effectively in online learning process. The guidance can guide learners to set learning goals, to program learning schedule; be able to instruct learning method and skill; and tutor learning in online learning and etc. Through lots of internet inquiry, it indicates that the design strategy of the guidance module in most online courseware is unreasonable, the forms are simple, and guidance's effect is not embodied.With the progress of network technology, streaming video is widely used in internet. Video possesses many advantages features than other medias; video guidance can overcome guidance module's defects of the current network courseware. Nowadays the research of the video guidance is limited, on the base of been analyzed current guidance module, according to instruction design theory, referring to existed guidance strategy, and considering video's advantages and features, obtain the strategy of video guidance in online courseware; then using these video guidance strategies design in a online courseware, adopting Flash video which is a new video technology in guidance module.
