Learning result division is a common phenomenon. According to the responses of the teachers from the basic education curriculum reform district, chemistry learning result division is remarkable in grade nine after having implemented the new course and even the chemistry learning results polarization in some schools appears. With reference to the views of many educationalists domestic and abroad, the thesis puts forward some views about learning result division phenomenon: chemistry learning result division is a kind of common and reasonable phenomenon; but excessive, premature learning result division and polarization are abnormal. It is not beneficial to the development of all the students and also influences the realizations of chemistry course objectives. The researcher collected and analyzed chemistry scores of the test of grade nine students in many schools in the basic education curriculum reform district. The study investigated the condition of chemistry learning result division in grade nine and discovered that chemistry learning result division phenomenon existed generally. Chemistry learning result polarization's phenomenon will occasionally appear. The characteristic of each school's chemistry learning differentiation varies. Many factors affect chemistry learning result division, including the school system, the teacher, the fresh source, and other disciplines learning result division and so on. The longer of the chemistry study, the more content of the subject, the more obvious chemistry learning result division is.The thesis analyzed the reasons of chemistry learning result division, such as: the students, the new textbook, the teachers and subject characteristics of chemistry.
