Under the direction of project-learning curriculum theory and chemistry pedagogy, this paper aimed at the study of implementing project learning in microscale chemistry elective course. Recently project-learning curriculum draw more and more attention as an education research trend. It's an initiation of traditional curriculum and is greatly influenced by constructivism and modern theory.We carried out the practical research of microscale chemistry experimental instrument through project learning in senior student. We put emphases on the theoretical foundation of the initiation of teaching mode, activity mode of students, curriculum content and the direction method of teachers. The result shows that it is practical to implement project learning in microscale chemistry for our preservice chemistry teachers.Through the project learning of curriculum content, students developed the basic ability to do microscale chemistry experiments by themselves, discover and use several methods to solve the problems. And their creativity spirit and ability have been greatly improved.The curriculum content closely related to the development of middle school education and make student better use the experiment skills of microscale chemistry in their future instruction. Meanwhile, we try to develop and apply a new method for the chemistry teacher-training curriculum.
