With the rapid development of science and technology around the world, science education is confronted with a severe challenge. Facing the challenge, the elementary education in our country is experiencing a major reform. SCIENCE (for Grades 7 -9) is a newly assigned comprehensive course in the new round of educational course reform. Science course takes training the science attainment of students as purpose, it covers the original contents of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Geography for junior high school, also Astronomy and some intersectional subjects are involved.Based on document research, this article analyses the research direction of this topic from aspects such as the basic structure and course standard of science course, also analyses and reviews the current situation of this course according to some questionnaires , classroom cases and document analysis. This article compares the similarities and differences of the information points and common teaching methods of Science course and Physics course of junior high school, and thereon tries to propose a tentative plan to facilitate Science course teaching to be more ccomplete.This article is composed of five chapters.By reviewing the history of the development of Science course in China and foreign countries,the first two chapters expatiate that the development of Science course in junior high schools is an inevitable trend, and introduce the development and reform of Science course inside and outside of China, especially the development of Science course in Wuhan city, thus put forward the background and significance of this topic. Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 take the practice of Science education in Wuhan city as example, summarize the similarities and differences of Science course and Physics course in the field of the course target, classroom practice , teaching methods and so on, and then bring forward the author's consideration and technique. Chapter 5 aims at questions exposed in aforementioned chapters, anatomizes the advantages and disadvantages of the promotion of Science course in Wuhan city, and brings forward measure and countermeasure that the author assumes.
