With the advancement of New Curriculum and Curriculum Reform in the country, history of mathematics education and the development of school-based curriculum is attracting increasing attention from education sectors and schools. This article combines two aspects together: that is, take a lesson from the history of mathematics and melt the history of prime number into the design of teaching plan for school-based curriculum .This article is divided into two parts. The first part mainly concerns the literature review and the analysis of prime number. This part systematically elaborates the models and principles about designing teaching plans for the chapter of prime number. The second part is to analyse case students. This part focuses on skills and drills for the chapter of prime number through case study. This thesis mainiy deals with the research on the relevant problems with the prime number without the concept of it. It mainly replaces the prime factor factorization in the concept of prime number with the method of geng xiang jian sun and algorithm of division. In the way, the students can grasp the method of thinking of the method of geng xiang jian sun and algorithm of division. Finally, we draw some conclusions based on literature study and case study: the necessity of combining history of mathematics into shool-based curriculum and feasibility for carrying out curriculum in primary and secondary schools with the concepts of prime number. But to meet the needs in the follow-up study, the concept of prime number is still interested in school-based curriculum. At the same time, the writer offers some suggestions on teaching prime number and training teachers.
