The Present Situations And Strategies For Classical Poetry Teaching In Secondary School

Classical poetry,a gem of Chinese culture,is an important component of language teaching in secondary schools。The quality of students can be comprehensively enhanced when they are able to appreciate the unique aesthetic value and rich connotation of the humanities。After making some surveys and interviews,the author finds out some problems with present classical poetry teaching。For example,it has been long ignored in some schools。Also,the students show little interest in it。Besides,teaching method is rather limited and the materials selected are not quite rational,etc。Therefore,the author puts forward new ideas for teaching poetry:selecte reasonable materials,upgrade teacher training,try effective teaching methods,and train students to achieve the abilities for self-study and sentiment。Meanwhile,the author makes a forecast to the prospects of classical poetry teaching,which will be beneficial to all Chinese-teaching teachers。She also makes an appropriate expection to the teaching task in the future。...
