From The Science And Technology Development Level To See The Relation Between The Development Of Science & Technology And The Changing Status Of Women In Different Countries

Within the coming of information age in the latter part of 1990s, technology and education have been brought up to a key position for enhancing the country's economic strength, overall national strength and international competitiveness. This not only makes the development of human resources to be put on governments' agenda around the world, so that the community as a subject of human development is of increasing importance, but also makes human development, which is the core part of society more and more meaningful. This situation has been more fully that sustainable development is in general consensus. However, the conception of "person" is by no means empty, and sex is one of the important factors which are neglected for a long time. Due to historical and practical reasons, discrimination relations of oppression and the oppression, discrimination and the injustice have been of long-term existence between the two interdependent sex groups so far, which are created by human nature - men and women. Responding to the changing status of women has always been the portrayal and epitome of social development, and the status inequality of women caused a serious obstacle to the global development, analysis is made for changes of women status from the starting point of science and technology.From the point view of universal contact, social gender analysis and comparative analysis of philosophy, analysis is made on the changing of women status in countries of different science and technology development level. The analysis is designed to get rid of dominant pattern of gender division of labor so far, and women's liberation which is to be achieved as a important part for human to rid itself of slavery and to get freedom, so as to enable them to be treated with equality to men as participants and beneficiaries in the development process fully and broadly. The change is also highly treasured for the elimination of global poverty and achievement of human sustainable development as well as common prosperity. This is not simply to allow women to share the equal rights to men, but also refers to the break the hierarchy in the community for men and women which is existing and established by the code of ethics and values, so as to the realization of the men and women's common liberation.The conclusion is drawn from the comparison of changes of women status in different countries of different science and technology development. (1) the development of science and technology plays a fundamental role in the changes of women status. (2) The development of science and technology will not automatically lead to the improvement of women status. (3) There is no entirely corresponding relationship existence between the two. (4) The development of science and technology for women is in itself a double-edged sword. Therefore, in addition to the women status has aroused more concern, women also need to go beyond the limitations of group interests at the same time, and to combine oppressed and discriminated social group all the world. They should make efforts to set up a new society of the elimination of class, race, ethnicity, social gender and the unequal and unreasonable right relationship among countries, so that all the people can get free and all-round development.
