On the basis of the current situations and difficulties in biology teaching of new curriculum, we put forward the research theme and have an in-depth analysis, understanding and defining the biology experiments, experimental methods, screening and other concepts. By means of literature review, we summarized the current biological experiment at home and abroad. Meanwhile, the approach and principle of screening were designed. We conducted comprehensive studies of experimental materials and methods of new biology textbooks published by People's Education Publishing House (PEPH). According to the local resources and school's conditions, we improved the experiment via materials, methods and procedures. We conducted the screening research by means of instructors' coordinate studies, students' inquiry-based learning, and classroom biology experimental teaching. We will conduct a comprehensive analysis and category of all the experiments of the new PEPH textbooks through our school daily instruction activities. Besides, the questions will be surfaced and clarified, and the solution will be raised. In this paper, five cases were provided and the details on the screening backgrounds, procedures, and conclusions were unfolded. Finally, the reflections on biological experiments and associated teaching were displayed, which will give some hints to reforms on new curricular teaching.Biology is an experiment-based natural science and the experiment is the pith of the subject. T Experiments in the high school enable the students to have the cognition of the science and experience the concepts and form the scientific methods. Therefore, the experimental teaching in biology is a significant and essential part of biology. We did extensive literature and practice survey aiming at the specific conditions of Wenzhou city. We have designed comprehensive, innovative experimental scenarios for biological teaching and the responses were fine.Through the studies of new curriculum and novel materials screening, the rates of successful experimental courses are raised which stimulates more interests of the students and teachers and more teaching reform activities are performed. In practice, we held the theme activities on the experimental improvement, which will contribute to the formation of teachers learning community. Besides, it will also make the experimentation involved in the daily activities, which will facilitate the screening of experiment materials, solve the problem actively and improve the experimental courses. Introduction of local materials and simple procedures stimulates the interests of students. When they participate in screening the materials by themselves, they can make their own decisions, which gives more freedom to them. Interests and more freedom will make students improve their scientific abilities, such as innovation, team work and inquiry. More importantly, when students understand more about their hometown, they will be inspired to love their hometown. Additionally, it will also make students understand more about local resources and improve the senses of environmental protection. With the research going on, the experimental knowledge and teaching experience and wisdom will be accumulated and grown. Meanwhile, our teachers will not only ameliorate their teaching capacity and but also enhanced their level of research and professional development.
