In the current new language curriculum reform whether the teaching idea of"the individualised reading"can be implementated is the essential part in how to successfully increase students' reading skills, to develop students' language accomplishment, to cultivate students' individuality and to perfect student's personality. The present thesis discusses reading teaching from the perspective of"individualised reading".It has three parts:In the first part we can find the definition and the research background of"indiviualised reading", which stresses that the student centers in the reading practice and students' well developed individuality is the value orientation of reading education. This method's essential features include the independency, the experience, the criticalism, the creativity, and the estheticism. As a kind of advanced teaching method, individualised reading has its reality need and the intrinsic need for existence. Also the promulgation of new Language curriculum standard, the main problems in reading education, and those fuzziness factors existing in the language reading education call for this kind of new teaching idea.In the second part the present thesis provides powerful theoretical support using the theory of acceptance, the construction principle, and the dialog theory separately for implementing individualised reading method from different angles in the middle school language teaching.The third part gives the definition and the methods of how to implement"the individualised reading teaching method", as it is a mutiple communication between the student, the text, and the teacher in certain teaching situation. Its concrete implementation is the key to successfully carry out the method individualised reading, and therefore it is the main part in this part. In addition, the language teacher's individualised teaching style also inspires and wakens student's individualised reading skill.
