Exploration Of Senior High School Students Application Ability Raised In Mathematical Model

Mathematical model is one of the most important scientific methods,which are widely used in our living and science research.Developing skill of application is the main goal in teaching mathematics.However,our students don't show this skill clearly.How to improve skill of application through mathematical model is the topic of this paper.Firstly,the paper expatiates the practical background and theoretical base of the thoughts of mathematical model in high school.Secondly,the author introduces mathematical model concept,characters and types,analyses the development of mathematical model,principle and procedure in modeling.Then the paper mainly analyses some kinds of modeling used in senior high school.Students' abilities of problem solving will be improved by mathematical model building in the teaching of mathematics.Moreover,it will contributes to change students's study way and motivates their actively involving in math study and cooperation.So students' awareness of application,ability of application,and innovation will all be improved. Teachers must be reminded of reality application in mathematical model building teaching and emphasizes mathematics is derived from our living.Lastly,the paper gives some rational proposals about mathematical model building in the teaching of mathematics.
