Under the background of the new curriculum standard,students are required to explore the phenomena and laws of life based on biological facts and evidences by applying models and modeling,induction and generalization and other methods.At the same time,it is clearly proposed in the "Biology and Environment" module that students can use mathematical models to characterize the law of population quantity change.Based on the integration of high school bio-mathematics model resources,this study attempts to apply mathematical model in review of biology in Senior Three in order to explore the influence of this teaching strategy on students' ability of obtaining information and expressing words,so as to accumulate cases and data for the application of mathematical model in senior high school biology teaching.First of all,text analysis method is used to integrate mathematical model resources in senior high school biology teaching and to divide some types horizontally.In order to enrich the teaching materials for teachers to apply mathematical models,the resources of mathematical models in the new curriculum papers in the past three years have been fully tapped.Then,through the test paper method,we can understand the application status of mathematical model in biology review of Senior Three.The results show that students' ability to obtain information needs to be improved,and their ability to express words also needs to be improved.In this study,two ordinary classes with no significant differences in the pretest results were selected as the practice objects in Guiyang No.6 Middle School.Among them,the experimental class adopts the teaching strategy of mathematical model,while the control class adopts the conventional teaching model.And Combine with specific teaching cases and test questions to evaluate the application effect of mathematical model in review of biology in Senior Three.The results show that after more than three months of practice,there is a significant difference in the post-test scores between the two classes and the experimental class is significantly higher than the control class.This shows that it is effective to apply mathematical models in review of biology in Senior Three.By analyzing the sub-questions of 12 post-test questions in the two classes,it is found that there are significant differences between the two classes in questions 6,11 and 12.However,in the other nine questions,there is no significant difference between the two classes.The reasons may be as follows: Firstly,the ability of students in the experimental class to extract surface information is strengthened,but the ability to extract hidden information is not significant.Secondly,some of the test questions not only examine students' ability to obtain information and express words,but also involve students' mathematical foundation or strengthen memory and other requirements.In addition,by analyzing the students' one-model scores adaptive test scores,there is no significant difference between the two classes,but the adaptive test results show significant differences.It shows that this teaching strategy can improve students' biological performance.But in the short term,the effect is not significant,and long-term persistence will have better results.According to the results of practice,the following three conclusions are drawn:(1)The application of mathematical models is helpful to cultivate students' ability to obtain information.(2)The application of mathematical models can improve students' ability to express words to a certain extent.(3)The application of mathematical models needs long-term persistence to achieve better results.
