Beginning teacher induction is very meaningful in accelerating the continuous teacher professinal development.We can say that the quality of the induction education will influence not only their occupational orientation and permanence,but also their professional development pattern in the whole career.Australian is one of the country who implemented the beginning teacher induction program in the earliest time in the world.The systematic and perfect School-based induction system has been set up through continuous reform and improvement since it was inplemented since the early 1980s. Australian beginning teacher School-based induction is characterized with specific goal,reasonable procedure,rich and pertinent training content orienting to the new teacher professinal development. Although the beginning teacher induction program had been implemented in our country for a long time,it failed to make a remarkable eddedt for lacking of perfect systematic organization.So,it is necessary for us to study and learn form the other countries.The paper consists of six sections:Section one is the introduction that compreises of problem statement,literature review and difinitions of key concepts.Section two analyzes the emerging background of Australian beginning teacher induction, which directly resulted in the found of school-based inductionSection three mainly introduces the components of Australian beginning teacher School-based induction,including its goals,components,strategies and principles.These all can make us know of detailed information about australian school-based inductionSection four expound the process of Australian beginning teacher School-based induction of implementation,and introduces the implementation of the security condition and implementation effect evaluation.Section five analyzes the characteristics of Australian beginning teacher school-based induction.Including,promoting the new teacher professional development,establishing a gradual training modes,inosculating all kinds of resources arounding the school.Section six discusses the present status and problems existing in chinese beginning teacher training,and puts forward the useful experience we can learn from Australian beginning teacher school-based induction.
