Along with factors as social politics,economy,science and technology,thought culture and so on development changes,the society also set the new request to talented person's demand,not only requests some professional persons,moreover needs versatile talented persons of full scale development of knowledge broad.The US universities of study comply with the request of the time development,universal recognition in the university to develop passes general education,but general education curriculums is the best way of achieving general education t.The US general education curriculums of research universities,starting probably have more than 100 years history until now,and has gained the obvious successful experiences in the implementation process.No matter will be the present or the future,the US research universities will continue to eagerly anticipate the American universities to general education the trend.After the such long time's development,the US research universities' general education curriculums already to gain the quite mature experience in each aspect,these experiences will have certainly profit from the value to design of Our country Universities' general education curriculums.This article in the introductory remarks first introduced question statement,from the higher education development's common tendency,the US research universities' general education curriculum of history and obtains experience,as well as our country institutions of higher learning general education curriculums of the strong foot development and the deficiency from three aspects ask this article question.The literature summarizes mainly narrates from overseas and the domestic two aspects.Then talks about this article the research mentality and the method as well as the main concept appraisal.Through the introductory remarks narration,has a clear summary by it to this article approximate mentality.In the article talks about the US general education of research universities development process.
