Knowledge centered-education lead to a lot of problems, such as the deviation between knowledge and culture.so the culture centered-education is more appreciated by the public.Philosophy of culture centered-education is the foundation of broader cultural. It emphasis that only the culture rooted knowledge is fresh;Once cutting off the lifeblood of the culture, knowledge tends to become boring, empty and abstract, and even dogma. This article explored the concept teaching in the great vision of culture.First analysis the meaning and characteristics in the cultural vision.through the analysis I found that concepts are not just knowledge, but also a kind of culture,a kind of symbol, it is also a way of thinking, the significance of the concept are constantly changing and developing in time and space. At the same time, this article also reflect the traditional concept teaching, found that teachers often ignore the relationship between knowledge and culture, simply think the concept as knowledge, but neglect the concept is also a culture. The biggest harm of this vision leads to the limitations of the teachers.Education has an important function, that is "cultivating people",just remembers a lot of symbols and knowledge can not educate people, what can really "cultivating people" is the culture,is the meaning behind the symbols. Then we should explore how the concept gather and carry the culture, the pursuit of the meaning behind this symbol? Undoubtfully, the inquiry-oriented teaching is the suitable way.In this paper, the second part is the introduction of the basic concept of inquiry-oriented teaching, that is,the theoretical basis for this study.Partâ…¢focuses on teaching objectives by inquiry-oriented teaching of concept, operational procedures.I hope this study can enrich the education and teaching theory.
