Research Into Inheritance Of Xinyiquan In Henan Province

Xinyiquan,one of the excellent Chinese traditional Quans,is an important component of Wushu in Hui nationality,whose inheritance relationship is a representative miniature in traditional Wushu.The development of Xinyiquan in Henan province is mainly in Luoyang,Zhoukou and Luohe in this paper,the author curled up two important branches(that of Ma Xing' and Zhang Zhicheng' )of Xinyiquan in Henan Province through investigations in Luoyang,Zhoukou and Luohe, interviewing and telephone interviewing the successors in different generations and different ages,reading large amount of pertinent document data.And then,from the social relations of each successor of Xinyiquan in Henan Province,the author gives a comparative analysis to three ways of the inheritance of Xinyiquan in Henan Province: blood succession,field predestined succession and national succession.They choose blood relationship is because blood relationship is objective among the successors,and blood relationship makes the succession stable,whose effects can't be replaced by others.They choose field predestined succession is because of their convenience and credibility,which is also the necessity dilating of the expansion of it. They choose national succession is because of the powerful influence of the religion, which explains why Xinyiquan is so conservative.Through research into the three ways of inheritance,the author gives a deep analysis to the reasons of the three ways in sociology and psychology perspectives,and then gives the causes why they choose one certain way of the three.And also,the author tells the advantages and disadvantages of the way of inheritance,and points out the thinking of the inheritance in modern society.It aims at make a 3-dimensional analysis to Xinyiquan,and also makes known of the traditional experts of Wushu in psychological characteristics.This paper is to give a reference effect of the research on other traditional Whushu. Because the author means that other traditional Quan also mainly consists of the three ways.Based on the theory above,it tells the mentality need and behavior perceiving of the Wushu successors which will help the spread of the traditional Wushu.
