The article uses the following methods:literature reviews,logic analysis,and interview with experts.It offers a comprehensive survey on the centurial course of our country's modern school Wushu.It shows:1.The modern school Wushu has developed on the basis of the ancient school Wushu,and this can't be separated from the historical background and educational need.The modern school Wushu can't be developed without the department of education paying great attention and the advocation of the figures in the government and famous people in our society.The established school Wushu agencies have trained a large number of talented persons.At first,the development of modern school Wushu is uphold in the school by,"the competition between tradition and foreign style" and "emphasizing military affairs".The oriental and occidental culture collided and made a new development of the school Wushu.The modern school Wushu education is out of balance and the teachers experienced from being employed to be trained.2.The contemporary school Wushu develop toward to standardized The school Wushu teaching programmes has a profound change in primary schools and middle schools.The content has a gradual trend of being rational. The university school Wushu teaching present a diversified situation. The construct of the school Wushu teachers has been obviously improved. The school Wushu teaching continuously extends in the physical schools, and the scales of school Wushu clubs in different places have become lager and lager.3.The modern school Wushu teaching is facing some primary problems:with sports' globalization,the foreign things have been a threat to the school Wushu.The loss and promotion of traditional culture in the school Wushu.The popularization of school Wushu is contrary to the competition athletics in practical teaching.The quality and standard of the school Wushu teachers need a further improvement. 4.The enlightenment of contemporary school Wushu is that Wushu get new development in the development in the conflicts between the east and the west.The development of school Wushu needs a long- term plan as the guarantee;the improvement of school Wushu should be based on qualified teaching staff;the development of school Wushu should satisfy the youngsters' psychological need;the development of school Wushu need the central government and the Ministry of Education to make more severe legislation.Focusing on the aforementioned problems,some suggestions are offered.1.About the teachers,schools at different levels or of different kinds, at least,should equipped with a professional school Wushu teacher or a teacher who is good at school Wushu.2.About the class,adopting the "2+1" teaching model,it means two PE classes,plus another a school Wushu class.And anyone or any class can't substitute the school Wushu class with any excuse.3.About the theory,it needs to compile a suit of textbooks reflecting national heroes in the history,then,cooperate with action films to give an education about the martial moral.4.About the technique.Compose several suits of practical teaching materials,which are suitable for the students to practice.For instance, the gymnastics include school Wushu gymnastics,fighting gymnastics, rhyme gymnastics,instrument gymnastics,and team gymnastics;the tricks include action combination,a section of tricks,the primary and middle tricks(include the commonly used instruments),the local pugilism;the dual meet includes match combination,school Wushu combination,capture and wrestling,simple push and so on.5.About training the teachers,they should be made clear that school Wushu is a mass physical item,it can't be located merely on training athletes.School Wushu is not only a technique but the more import is its rich connotative culture which has a positive impact on shaping students' national custom culture and a complete personality.6.About the management.The state should choose a group of schools and training bases with school Wushu characteristics.Construct different patterns of competition system.Try to make school Wushu as a part of entering a higher school.Put "school Wushu system" in to effect in different level of schools.Establish high level school Wushu teams, associations,clubs in higher colleges.Develop various school Wushu activities in membership.7.About the design of school Wushu teaching,it should reflect the guiding ideology,"play down the tricks,underline the methods, emphasize the practice".Create a suit of school Wushu ticks,which include the connotation of traditional culture,be representative, simple and practical.Increase the proportion of fight in the teaching programmes.Use a single movement to practice when teaching.Then, imitate attack and defense.At last,practice the model of tricks.Making school Wushu realizes its real value and being a way to pass on the national spirit.
