With the flourishing development of modern distance education and the global advocacy of lifelong learning,the Virtual Learning Community has a very extensively prospects for development.At the era of knowledge economy,it is serves people's desire for knowledge and needs for lifelong learning,and become an important platform for distance teaching and learning. The social interaction among teachers and students is an important part in online teaching activities,and also as a core element in the learning support systems,and make them have a sense of belonging and identification in Virtual Learning Community.This study selectes the China Accounting School as the research platform,and selectes the students who participated in online asynchronous interaction as research subjects for case study, content analysis and questionnaire survey are used research on the social presence of online community,to students' perceived and online interpersonal relationships of students.Research tries to summarize the factors that affect the social presence and online interpersonal relationships of students,and explores the development process of online community.The results indicate:(1) the China Accounting School has developed into a more dynamic online community,where most of the students have formed a good sense of social presence,(2) social interaction is the mainstream and learning interaction is a supplement in online asynchronous interaction among students,(3) interactive responses is very important of social interaction among students,but limited,(4) the longer online learning time,the higher level of social presence of students;the online interpersonal relationships of male students' are better than female students',(6) the online interpersonal relationships among students are characterized by the development of a phased.Through the study,the writer gives the following advices on the online asynchronous social interaction among students:(1) to strengthen the interaction between online tutors and students, (2) to make the systerm of management,online tutors give some individualized suggests based on learning effect,(3) to establish regional online discussion board,to enhance interaction among students,(4) to organize offiine and online interactive activities regularly.
