On The Benevolence Theory Of Confucius And The Humanistic Spirit Of Contemporary Sports Teaching

The ultimate goal of the Benevolence Theory of Confucius, which has influenced people's thought and behavior extensively and profoundly,is to mold perfect personality, realize human freedom,make people understand human life and emotion correctly,and recover people's personality through emotional promotion.Some ideas and rules,such as human dignity,value idea,group consciousness and independence awareness,included in the Benevolence Theory of Confucius, still have important significance of enlightenment and guidance on people of modern society.We should inherit them critically by absorbing their positive factors and integrating the aspect of promotion for the cultivation of the humanistic spirit of contemporary sports teaching.Sports teaching,a part of human culture,has been flourishing in contemporary society.However,a series of problems,such as ignoring the life noumenon,neglecting people's personality,advocating knowledge-base,distorting the teacher-student relationship,and detaching from real life, which violate humanistic spirit,have appeared in the process of sports teaching.If those problems cannot be solved effectively,the cultivation of humanistic spirit of contemporary sports teaching will be affected terribly,lt is not enough to solve them by simply depending on the institutions and science's development.After all,the spiritual problems need to be solved from the mind.Therefore,the aim of cultivating humanistic spirit of contemporary sports teaching can only be achieved with the help of the Benevolence Theory of Confucius.With the Benevolence Theory of Confucius and the humanistic spirit of contemporary sports teaching being the research objects,the thesis dwells on the interaction between them from different perspectives,by adopting comprehensively literature review,historical analysis,comparative study, expert interview and other methods.The main proceedings of the thesis are as follows:At first,the thesis sorts out the ideas of the Benevolence Theory of Confucius by analyzing amounts of literature.The quintessence of the humanistic spirit is extracted and the foundation of it is also discussed in the thesis.Then the thesis explores the basic connotation of the humanistic spirit, the core ideas and values about contemporary sports teaching, and elaborates the loss of the humanistic spirit in contemporary sports teaching as well as the reasons.On the basis of that,the thesis also studies the adaptability and necessity of the Benevolence Theory of Confucius.Besides,it mainly states the influence on contemporary sports teaching imposed by the Benevolence Theory of Confucius and the means to realize it.Finally,the thesis puts forward the corresponding strategies of reform.
