Cultivate students’ humane spirit is an important task of society and the era have entrusted to the geography curriculum, also is an important goal of our geography teaching. Related theory and practice have proved that, infiltrating human spirit in the geography teaching, cultivate students’ humanities accomplishment is very important for both the students and the society. For students to "life-long appreciation and understanding of the world", to be able to live in harmony with others, understanding and tolerant multicultural. For society, the harmonious development of students aware of the relationship, the importance to protect the environment and into action to make society more harmonious and stable development, So training students’ humanistic spirit in geography teaching is very important. In this study, the author embarks from the training of the students’ humanistic spirit, on the basis of reading literature, to find the deficiency existing in current humanistic spirit research, then through the student questionnaire, teacher questionnaire and interview survey, and the methods of classroom activity in the investigation and analysis of the current geography teaching status and existing problems of training students’ humanistic spirit, Finally based on the problems existing in the suit the remedy to the case puts forward the strategy.In this paper, there are six parts of the main body:The first part is the introduction of this paper, mainly for the research background, theoretical significance and practical significance, domestic and foreign research present situation and the deficiencies, research method and technical route. Through the understanding of the present research found in this paper, we study the logical starting point.The second part is the summary of the research of this paper, mainly for defining the core concepts of this article, including the humanistic spirit and humanistic spirit in the geographical perspective contains content, at the same time on training students’ humanistic spirit advantage geography.The third part is the theoretical foundation part, mainly including "person’s full scale development" the pedagogy theory, humanism theory and sustainable development theory found theoretical support for the thesis writing. The fourth part is the present situation investigation and analysis, the survey of three middle school students in Wuhan and combining the teacher questionnaire and interview in the analysis of the current high school geography teaching to cultivate students related problems of the humanistic spirit.The fifth part in view of the current training students’ humanistic spirit is put forward to solve the deficiency of the strategy, which is the subject and core part of this article. Mainly includes:geography subject teaching and humanistic spirit cultivate of students; The development and utilization of human resources, teaching content rich humanistic spirit; Adopt various teaching methods, cultivate humanistic spirit; To carry out a variety of extracurricular activities, internalize the humanistic spirit; Improving teachers’ humanities accomplishment, exerts a pass humanistic spirit and so on five specific teaching strategy of training students’ humanistic spirit.The sixth part is the conclusion, summarizes the basic conclusions of this paper and the research of the deficiencies and research prospect.
