Research On The Integrative Evaluation Of University Website Taking Shandong Province As An Example

It's been over 40 years of the development of the modern computer network since 1960s,especially,in the middle and later periods of 90s,Internet has been developing rapidly,and applied into every aspects of daily life.Though the quantity is large,the quality cannot be estimated.If there is no a positive evaluation criteria,the information order will end up in confusion,the good and bad will be intermingled.Facing to the development of Internet,we need a favorable and integrated evaluation index system for websites.In addition,university website is a window to communicate with outside.The quality of the website has something to do with the appearance and reputation of the university, and shows its level of education.So,it is significant to do such research.I constructed the evaluation index system and took universities of Shandong province as an example, analyzing the reasonability of this system and the level of these websites.Firstly,I analyzed the researches about website evaluation home and aboard. According to the characteristics of university website,I constructed an integrated evaluation indexes system taking universities of Shandong province as an example.Use AHP to assign the weight for the indexes.And I got the model for evaluation.Secondly,I evaluated these websites,using fuzzy evaluation and grey relational analysis,and gave the ranks.Thirdly.I correlated analyzed the results with universities competition scores.The two were obviously correlated.Access amount and ex-link were the most obviously correlated with universities competition scores.And the ex-link from educational domain took the most part of the total ex-link.Furthermore,according to the practical evaluation,I found out the problems in website construction and how to improve their web impact and reputation.The index system can be perfected as well.And I figured out the rules of web information resources.So we can find a more convenient way to access web data,and a better approach to evaluate websites. Also we can supplement the research theories and methods in this field.
