A Case Study On Career Development Of Shanghai Entrepreneurs Graduated From Secondary Vocational And Technical Schools

With the development of Chinese economic reformation, the employment system has taken up a big change. With the effect of many factors, more and more people have chosen entrepreneurial career.Person graduated from secondary vocational and technical schools go to social earlier than people from colleges or universities. And they may be faced to more risks and living stresses. However they are eager for realize their individual value at the same time. Following the time steps, part of them take entrepreneurship as their career bravely. The studies about entrepreneurship are springing up in the recent years. But there is not so enough systematical studies about practices of entrepreneurs graduated from secondary vocational and technical schools. This study likes to study in the career development of these entrepreneurs deeply to analysis it's features, then search the entrepreneurial meaning.This study includes five chapters:Chapter 1:Present the topic and aim of this study, command on relevant studies taken by others before, and introduce the process of the study.Chapter2:Introduce the time background of the entrepreneurship, including the employment problem in China, entrepreneurial policies, entrepreneurial culture and the current entrepreneurial situation.Chapter3:Show the first case of an entrepreneur, Mr. Zhang, revealing the career meaning to Mr. Zhang based on analysis his entrepreneurial experience.Chapter 4:Show the second case of an entrepreneur, Ms. Zhang, the meaning of the entrepreneurial experience to her.Chapter 5:Conclude the career feature of these entrepreneurs , and the career meaning of entrepreneurship to them.The conclusion of this study is that the wish or living pressure is the power drive people graduated from secondary vocational and technical school to choose the entrepreneurship as their career. The projects they choose are of needed widely and technical single. Once start to be an entrepreneur, the key factor is improvement .Learning is the important mechanism. And the desire to realize himself or herself is the permanent power for them to improve. At the same time, these people get much from their choices, including economy gain, social position, personal entrepreneurial ability, and so on. We also can learn much from their experiences, such as one should start to entrepreneurship after working some times.
