| The main purpose of this study was to explore the situation of female principals' leadership in junior high school, find out the the difficulties on their career path and find out the solution. Firstly, this article has a study on the related theory of principal's leadership,and on that basis, brings out a questionnaire about "principal's leadership in Shanghai's junior high school". After the study of the interview of 4 female principals and analysis of the data from the questionnaire which was taken in the 4 junior high school as above, I found these 4 female principals have got high scores in all the 5 dimensions of principal's leadership which are :Instructional Leadership, curriculum leadership, administrative leadership, professional development and public relation leadership. But why are there fewer female principals than male? It's due to some external and inner factors ,only if solve these problems would there be as many female principals as female teachers in junior high school. |
