The discussion of adult higher education teaching reform needs to find a fulcrum in Archimedes thinking.The thinking of ontological philosophy enlightens us to find the embryo and germination which decide the development of adult pedagogy.The development of adult education disciplines reflects that the adult feature is the ontology of adult pedagogy,the learning difference between adult and children declare publicly adult feature in teaching,the transformation of adult higher education also calls for adult feature in teaching.Therefore,it is reasonable to take "adult feature" as the fulcrum of adult higher education teaching reform.The adult higher education in our country has experienced half a century,various disadvantages which ignore the development of adult feature are protrude gradually even come to a dilemma of grave crisis in teaching under the plan mode.The concrete manifestations are as follows:firstly,teaching aims emphasize knowledge and skill only have been the obstacles of the development of adult higher education;secondly,teaching contents which copy general education cannot satisfy the adults' needs;thirdly,teaching process which limited to the category of epistemology leads to the distortion and non-vitality of teaching;fourthly,the time limited of "guillotine" in teaching could not accord with the adult learners' characteristics;fifthly,teachers' professional development level is very low;sixthly,the bewildering of opposition of subject and object cause the decline quality of teaching;seventhly,the rigidity and single teaching methods cause the low 9teaching efficiency and learners' enthusiasm;eighthly,the management service on the perspective of teachers reverse the relations of primary-secondary objects.The problems exist in adult higher education teaching need our decisions.Take the regression of "adult" as a thought transformation to come into the life world of adults,make the research of "adult" as the exerting point and take strategy conception as the action of regression "adult" higher education teaching,corresponding with the problems to complete the macroscopic conception of adult higher education teaching reform.Firstly,target location to the lifelong development of adult on the foundation of analyzing the adult learners' characteristics and the differences between the needs of commonness and personality;secondly,teaching contents should be the life reality of adults based on the thoughts of what adult life world is;thirdly,the learners' life and survival state make the teaching process come into life;fourthly,the adult characteristics need flexible and discontinuous teaching time plan;fifthly,teachers should pursue professional characteristic;sixthly,appeal adult learners' participation in the evaluation process and attention their expression on the perspective of adult learners so as to make the evaluation of subject and object toward harmony;seventhly,adult teaching methods should be diversified and personalized;eighthly,the characteristics of adult learners determine that more service are needed besides teaching and a management service system of full-time and omnibearing based on learners is needed,too.The regression needs critical thinking and scientific attitude to construct and deconstruct in addition to utopian spirit.The regression road is full of difficulty but it is a choice we must do.
