Adult education has been the powerful supplement of ordinary education seriessince the founding of our country, has made a significant contribution for our countryin the training of qualified personnel and the improvement of the quality of the wholenation. Since the reform and opening up, China’s adult education has made greatstrides in development, and cultivates a large number of applied talents; promote thedevelopment of the national economy. However, as China’s higher educationpopularization, the ordinary university enrollment rate continuously improves tounprecedented levels. On the other hand, the adult education in the education of thestrategic environment has undergone profound changes, strategy and strategicmanagement problem has been very prominent, the adult education of educationdemand is falling, and meanwhile non-academic education active unprecedentedly,community education vigorous development. National medium and long-termeducation development plan is put forward in the widely development of urban andrural community education; accelerate the construction of learning organization, thebasic formation of a life-long learning society.This paper uses the enterprise strategic management theory and practice, toDongCheng ZhiDa Adult College as the research object, the target service groups, thesocial environment, internal education resources on the basis of analysis, to determinethe existing problems and reasons; With the strategic management theory, from theDongCheng ZhiDa Adult College proposed the development point of view, trying toseek a suitable for similar DongCheng ZhiDa of adult college of independent settingthe road of development.
