Reflection Of The Popularization Of Higher Education In China Adult Higher Education Development

The implementation of mass higher education and the establishment of a life-long education system have offered a wide scope for the development of adult education in china. However, with the intensive extension of regular higher education, adult education, especially accredited education, is facing severe challenges in regular higher education institutions. Therefore, the issues pertaining to how adult education in regular higher education institutions, can cope with these opportunities and challenges, has generated much intention in the education field. Based on the connotation and category of adult education in regular higher education institutions, this essay reviews its developmental history with documentation method, and also elucidates the effects brought forth from the following aspects during social vicissitude, such as political, economic, and cultural factors, and the progress of adult education in regular universities itself.
