New Theory About Trainning In Traditional Wushu In The Modern Time

Wu shu,a unique item in Chinese traditional sports,has been rooted in the rich traditional Chinese culture and flourished with the five thousand years of Chinese civilization.From the natural ways of survival developed in the farming,fishing,hunting activities in the ancient time, to the military tactics and the boxing and sword playing in the folk in the Warring States period and Qin,Han,Tang,Song dynasties,and to various schools of Wushu south and north in Ming, Qing and the Republican period,Wushu has taken on some unique features of eastern civilization with thousands of years of development.Wushu has been playing an important role in Chinese history.However,with the coming of modern ages,especially after the opium war,military arts were gradually replaced by firearms.With the rapid rising of contemporary Chinese sports,many contradictions come into being in the development of contemporary Wushu.The contradictions between traditional theories and modern arguments have become a focus of the debates among various Wushu schools.Many patriots and martial artists are caught in a theoretical and practical dilemma.With a deep reflection,they argue that "Chinese tradition should not be abandoned in Wushu development" and a return to nature is demanded.Now,big progress has been achieved in the theoretical studies,content mining and patterns of development.Under the present social circumstances,Wushu is prevailing among Chinese and foreigners both inside and outside school. Increasing Wushu competitions year by year raise its level of respectability.Under the new circumstances,we should inherit traditional Wushu and carry it forward.As a practical sports item,we should adopt scientific theories to make a further study on Wushu practicing methods and research patterns when taking after our seniors' teaching and practicing methods.Only in this way,can we adapt Chinese Wushu to the modern world and infuse vitality and energy into it.Rooted on the traditional Chinese culture,ancient philosophy and ancient religions,Wushu possesses deep and rich connotations.Chinese people have created brilliant cultures and developed advanced technologies.In the traditional Chinese philosophy,we have "Change makes Taiji,Taiji breeds Yin and Yang,Yin and Yang breeds Sixiang,Sixiang breeds Bagua..."; "Tao creates Yi,Yi creates Er,Er creates San,and San creates all the things".These rules lie in all things,with which we can reveal the truth and solve problems somehow.The suggestion of the essay is:1.improving the theory researching of the martial art,and making it more suit to the practise.2.cultivating more traditioanl trainning of the martial art teacher,and improve the capacity of them.3.enhancing the communication among the colleages,folk,and countries in order to rich the contend of martial art;4.developing the teaching and traing of traditional trainning of the martial art.This thesis adopts the methods of literature consultation,expert interview,contrastive analysis,induction and experiment,etc,expounding the nature of Wushu through a close study on its practicing process.Based on the modern scientific practicing theories,combining with the states of Wushu development at present,by a close analyze of the traditional methods and ideas and,this thesis puts forward more scientific and systematical Wushu practicing methods and thinking patterns.In a word,this thesis deepens the understanding of the practicing of traditional Wushu,enriches and theoretical system of Wushu,sorts out thoughts for Wushu practice and provides a new perspective for the later studies.With profound Chinese cultures,traditional Chinese Wushu will demonstrate its ever-lasting charm.
