Niger is an African mid-west land locked country,the territory area 1,267,000 square kilometers,the population 11,000,000.Niger river in domestic long approximately 550 kilometers, it is one of the world hottest nations,North are subordinate tropics desert climate,south are subordinate savanna climate.As a result of history and social economy reasons,Niger's track and field developments is very late,also very slow,this article regarding Niger country athletics sports's system,Niger comes the economic development this year the condition to the track and field the influence,the traditional African culture and the people to track and field project cognition aspects and so on,Niger's geographical environment and African stature characteristic to Niger's track and field athletics history,the present situation carries on the analysis Discovers it to affect Niger track and field development the disadvantage factor,according to Niger's actual situation proposed that the reasonable suggestion,this without doubt has the great importance to Niger track and field development and even the entire Niger's athletics sports level's enhancement the practical significance.This paper is written on the bases of the investigation and research about the present situation and potential of track-and-field development in NIGER.Through research on document,questionnaire survey interview and statistical analysis,the thesis studies the present situation and problems faced by the country in the development of its track-and-field event.The thesis based on the reference of relevant materials,expert consultant,target investigation and aiming at the above mentioned reality of the matter,a conclusion is made as follows:1.The war caused the Niger's economic in a lag situation,the popularization was in a low level and media also haven't done a good work.The school lacked the manage department is the biggest blocked factor which caused the Niger's poor competitions performance.Meanwhile the big sports competitions event accelerate the Niger's track and field's development.2.The Niger's coach:74.4%is prime of life,in it 80%have the bachelor's degree,74.3 hold the high title of the technical post,and nearly the 50%coach's training skill's or knowledge just come from the pritical experience.;Because the coach's diploma and it's technical post was obtained by different way's,caused the coach have the high diploma but the poor ability.The majority of the Niger's coach felt the high work pressure,low salary,so they dissatisfied about the working surroundings,and they have the rare chance to go on the advanced study3.The number of the people who take part in the sport activity,82.2%is youngling; The female athlete sport take part in rating(12.2%)is lower the male athlete sport take part in rating(87.8%);The interviewed athleter 82.2%is the student;the policeman occupied 7.8%.it's showed that the majority athleter coming from sthdent.The research indicated that most of the athleter haven't got a systemic training,and seldom takeing part in the competition.The track and field event focus on middle-long distance running.4.The working condition of the physical-education teacher is very hard;and have the heavy task(16-18 hours lesson per week),so they haven't the enough time to carry out the sport training.The track and field athlete be lack of the systemic training,and most of the teacher have no chance to study abroad even the domestic.5.The high school is the greatness in support power of the Niger;take the track and field lesson as the compulsory course,is the best example of the it's track and field development,comparied with the other curriculum,Even through the track and field have the lower point(20 score),it's also the biggest impetus of the Niger's track and field's development.
