Study On School-based Training Present's Situation And Countermeatures General Senior Middle School P.E. Teachers In Henan Province

As a form of continuing education,school-based training has obtained some characteristic achievement since late 1980s.Practice proved that school-based training leads to specialized development of school and teachers.Through method of documents,questionnaire survey,statistics and logic analysis the author studied school-based training's present situation and countermeasures of general senior middle school P.E. teacher in Henan province and got the following conclusion:Firstly,P.E.teachers are mainly middle-aged and young; ratioofqualification on education level is high;proportion of female teacherison the low side;teaching age and teaching title structure is unreasonable;workload and treatment are not in direct ratio;teachers have low job-satisfaction;teachers' scientific research ability is low in general.Secondly,education services attach some importance to school-based training and have established related policy;most school leaders also attach importance and have made academic year or semester training plan. But there also exist some schools which have made plan at random or evendo not make plan;teachers have low understanding of school-based training.Thirdly,senior middle school teacher has a high demand of school-basedtraining;training fund is provided by school and individuals in mostschools;training is mainly on school's own teachers; training contentconcentrates in new curriculum,virtues of teacher andinformation technology training;when comes to choosing training content,there exists difference in teachers of different teaching age.Fourthly,training takes traditional teacher plus blackboard as main method;P.E.teachers choose different training method aiming at different content;there is no fixed training time in most schools, contradiction between work and learn is the biggest trouble of the training;quantify assess is the dominated assess method;P.E.teachers think that school-based training of their school is efficient anddo much help to themselves,also there is 94.8 percent of school leaders conformed this view.SuggestionThe senior middle school in Henan province carries on training to the P.E.teachers in the process,which must unify the many kinds of training form,display respective superiority,cause the school recordeducation and the quality enhancement develops simultaneously.Trainsafter the gym instructor duty,both must pay great attention to theschool record which the higher authority stipulated to reach the signtraining,and must pay great attention to related improves the teacherquality training. Moreover,various high schools also should strength with the university, the training organization relation,mutually is the supplement.
