Research On Arena Risk And Countermeasures In China's Large-Scale Track And Field Event

The arena of track and field events is the main stage where the track and field activities carryed on,any adverse incidents occurred on arena may caused a great deal of negative impact on whole track and field event.Therefore,research on the arena of the China's large-scale track and field event is an extremely necessary work to do.Based on the methods of literature material,expert interviews, questionnaire investigation and statistical treatment,the thesis choosen the high risk happenning area-"arena" in China's large-scale track and field events as the focus of the study.The results of this research can be concluded as the followings:1.According to the expert questionnaire investigation,the arena risks in China's large-scale track and field events is concluded as five major risk sources:environmental risks,management risk,field and equipment risks,technical risks and personnel risks.The environmental risks was composed by 3 sub-factors;The management risk was composed by 17 sub-factors;The field and equipment risks included 30 sub-factors;The technical risks was composed byl9 sub-factors;The personnel risks was composed by 33 sub-factors.2.The quantitative risk assessment methods was used in paper,assess the each risk within the each major risk source.In environmental risks, the natural environmental risk in a large proportion of the top five environmental risks,the top five environmental risks was followed by Suddenly encountered a strong wind,heavy rain,hail and other inclement weather;lightning hazard;Outbreaks of violence,The spread of infectious diseases;the high temperature.3.In management risks,lack of risk management culture,The risk strategies can not be implemented correctly,lack of well-structured or scientific risk management department,organizers's fault dicision-making,and the Competition managers lack the corresponding business qualities and abilities,at the forefront.The top three field and equipment risks were 'field equipment inadequate or improper maintenance,the sudden competition equipments failure,an emergency court lacks the necessary slogans'4.In technical risks,'the power supply system risk' was in the first place,next were the computer network system risk,television broadcast technical failure risks,timing system failure,the information display system problems,the electronic distance measurement problems,and so on. In personnel risks the athletes and judge's personal injury and judge's operation risk in the first three positions.5.Risks in the whole of the total order,reflects the proportion of the various specific risks in the former field of 15,in which the environmental risks,technical risks and the personnel risks are the three most needed pay attention to.6.The research use the risk avoidance,risk transfer,risk acceptance,risk control find the responding treatment on environmental risks,management risk,field and equipment risks,technical risks and personnel risks.
