The issue of identification is a topic from ancient to modern. With the transformation of society,people are posing the social problems of identity more severe. This paper adhere to the Marxist philosophy of the methodology, application of literature, history and logic of unity of approach, the methodology of historical materialism, forming the concept and theory of identity to answer social question.Chapter one is the theory and concepts of identity defined. Given a Philosophical meaning of identity, that is, people in the community conform to practical activities in the development of social relationships based on this differentiation, integrating and building a unit of society. What is more, it can mold Self-identification as well as the social contacts of identification. There are three main categories of identity. Identity features is a historical memory of the articles and the performance of a sense of belonging. The second chapter is about the link of the individual social identity which includes occurrence, adaptation, enculturation and conformity.
