| English writing is the perfect embodiment for students' English level.It give us a vivid picture of students how to master English knoledge.But present situation of the instruction for the English writing is not so great.Based on some theoretical researches on error analysis and learners' interlanguage,this thesis explores the errors and the causes of the errors in the middle school students' English writings.First,the thesis investigates the errors made by the students of middle school in their compositons.Then,an analysis of those errors if made following the procedures of identifying the errors,describing the errors,clarifying the errors,explaining the errors and evaluating the errors and evaluating the errors.After that,a questionnaire is designed to make a survey of the causes of the errors for the purpose of improving English teaching.According to the investigation and the analysis of the errors,it is true that learners will make different errors in their different learning stages.The causes of the errors are different ranging from the interference of the first language,the ignorance of the target language's rules,the overgeneralination of those rules,the learners' learning and communicationg strategies and even the teachers' training ways for their students.This thesis has probed into how the middle school students conduct their interlanguage writing and find out the characteristics of their interlanguage by analyzing the errors in the interlanguage writing by them at different stages of their interlanguage development. |
